About the Role

The Oceania Career Academy at its Airport Oaks campus has a position open right now for a tutor to deliver teaching, learning and assist with the design of training for building and construction employment preparation to standards consistent with the OCA contracts and the purpose and culture of OCA. We are looking for a keen person with suitable experience in tutoring and an appropriate trade qualification at Level 3 or above in a relevant field. Competitive salary / 40 hours a week. The role is located at the OCA Campus in the Airport Oaks Training Precinct in Māngere.

As a Carpentry Tutor you will thrive on using your experience to inspire the students and their families we serve and have:

• An appreciation of Pacific peoples’ cultures and protocols with the ability to connect and build relationships within all Pacific communities.
• Suitable experience in tutoring and an appropriate trade qualification at Level 3 or above in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience and proven contribution (academic/trade)
• Enthusiasm and a real desire to change lives.
