This level 3 course aims to support and enable young people who require further development and guidance to consolidate your study and career preparation. The programme encourages you to engage with the discipline and thinking you need to develop your skills, knowledge and attributes required to prepare you for a future career of your choice.

NZ Certificate in Study and Career Preparation
Gain the skills and knowledge you need to to pursue a level 4 qualification or above within a trade career pathway. This qualification is relevant to apprenticeship / pre-apprenticeship/entry-level employment and is linked to continuing educational and vocational training.
Gain an understanding of the contemporary workplace and the value of qualifications as well as the health, safety and environmental knowledge required to work safely in your work environment and with others.
You will be supported by Oceania Career Academy with guidance to further develop and consolidate your study and career preparation. You will be encouraged to engage with the discipline and thinking that leads to acquiring the skills, knowledge and attributes required to prepare for a future career along a pathway of your choice.
The programme offers activity based learning in the context of construction to prepare you for the world of work and gives you the opportunity to develop transferable skills enhancing your employability and work readiness.
What You Learn
Gain skills and knowledge through integrated learning and a range of carpentry-related projects while developing your business administration skills.

- Manage your own learning and work effectively as an individual and as a team-member to achieve relevant goals
