Kickstart your journey towards a career in health & wellbeing

NZ Certificate Level 2 – 60 Credits

The programme offers activity based learning with an emphasis on assessment of practical tasks wherever possible. You will actively engage in a variety of contexts related to health and wellbeing, such as conducting interviews with health and wellbeing practitioners (rangatira). You will also develop your awareness of the range of health and wellbeing related pathways open to you as you plan your future next steps.

Duration and study options:

  • Full time study (20 weeks)
  • Part time study (40 weeks)

Credits: 60

Entry requirement:

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • May be a school leaver
  • A New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Residence

Course topics:

  • Pathways and Goals (10 weeks)
  • Projects (10 weeks)

Teaching style:

This practical programme will keep you focussed and engaged through:
