NZ Certificate Level 3 – 120 Credits

Open the door to an apprenticeship with this practical Level 3 certificate. Develop your industry knowledge and skill – from workplace safety, communication and construction terminology, to mastering calculations and basic building technology. Complete real-world carpentry projects and graduate work-ready with this programme.

Duration and study options:

  • Full-time study: One year (42 weeks)
  • Part time study: Two years (80 weeks)

Credits: 120

Entry requirement:

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • May be a school leaver
  • A New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Residence

Course topics:

  • Safety and Compliance (20 weeks)
  • Project Planning & Implementation (20 weeks)
